In Norway we are known as specialists on India and Egypt; Many Africa Countries like Tanzania, South Africa, Morocco etc; many Asian Countries like China, Mongolia, Nyanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia etc For many years, we have acted as consultants for several Tour Operators, sharing destination knowledge and expertise.

We have also had the privilege of welcoming many of our Indian guests to our own homeland, Norway — the Land of the Midnight Sun. The Origin

The foundation and concept behind Travel and Learn trace back to 2003, when we lived in Thailand for a period and created our very first journey to Cambodia. It was an adventurous expedition with a small group travelling by minibus along muddy, potholed dirt roads, passing endless rice fields. We visited Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, including Angkor Wat and Banteay Srei — extraordinary and spectacular remnants found nowhere else in the world.

Even so, it took another three years of maturation and dedicated effort before Travel and Learn was officially launched in connection with Kjell’s 50th birthday on 12 January 2006. The occasion was marked by an adventurous journey to Egypt — Cairo, a Nile cruise, and an extended stay in Sharm El Sheikh — shared with friends and family. The success of this trip inspired us, and encouraged by those around us, we went on to create many more journeys to India and a wide range of other destinations.
